Poi Loader
A Windows program to insert 'Points Of Interest' files directly into Maemo Mapper's Poi Database the package now installs both sqlite3VB.dll and gpsbabel, the executables into the application path and the dlls into system32.
As it stands the program ( with the help of gpsbabel ) will directly handle TomTom poifiles (.ov2), Garmin poifile (.csv), Geocache (.loc), Google Earth (.kml) and GPX. There are also two limiting features, Radius and Route. The first allows you to extract from a large db of poi, all poi within a given radius. Route limiting requires a routefile.gpx ( downloaded using MM or direct from gnuite.com ), a 'cross track error' ( route simplification ), a distance ( 1/2 the width of a 'Poi Corridor' based on the route) and an path/filename for the output db.
All loaded poi files are converted into gpx files, have the selected category inserted into 'sym' tags and saved with an extension of .mmp ie. test.ov2 is saved in gpx format as test.mmp for future use.
There is a db operations screen allowing insertion deletion and amendment of records plus export of Poi by category and a complete export of the db into gpx files and a Stats screen showing a histogram of the categories against no. of poi.

Poi_Loader10pre.zip Route limiting. From a fully loaded Db create a route limited db . ie from a test.db of 13000 Poi using a route from gnuites website from Cardiff to London and a distance from route of 2.0 km the output db is 300 ish records depending on parameters entered.
